September 2025: BBQ Event Recap

September brought with it the (supposed) end of summer — and with it, our second furmeet!

Back at our first event in Sequiota Park, a BBQ was one of the most requested ideas. So when I ran a poll to decide our next meetup, BBQ won by a landslide! And what better way to wrap up the summer than with some good food and great company?

Thanks to JR, we were able to secure an awesome location — his own backyard!

The event was an incredible success. There was something truly magical about seeing everyone gathered around the fire, sharing stories, laughing, and enjoying BBQ together. It was amazing to see so many people excited about what we’re building here.

I saw a lot of familiar faces from our first event, as well as some I recognized from conventions I frequent. It really warmed my heart to see so many folks returning and bringing new friends. And huge shoutout to the fursuiters who came out — you all brought so much energy and joy!
